The problem that a person faces with a long draw has to do with "finger pinch" when coming to full draw at their anchor point. I have a 30" drawlength and two weeks ago, I ordered a 66" long, Blacktail Elite VL take-down recurve bow. It'll willbe a smooth drawing bow, withan 18" riser and long limbswithout any finger pinch. It will have a main riser built out of cocobolo footed with sheduawith myrtle accentsand bamboo cored limbs and the limbs will becovered with stained red elm veneers.The bow is scheduled to be delivered to me next year, around February of 2008.
