Aluminums bend, carbons can explode and injure the shooter upon release. I shoot A/C/C as these are an aluminum arrow wrapped in carbon. The best of both worlds. They shoot and perform great. $140 a dozen.
HCH beat me to it.

If you can afford it, get an Alluminum/Carbon arrow such as A/C/C or FMJ's.

Both are excellent arrows and provide the benefits of both alluminum and carbon.
