I have hunted and filmed Elk hunts in New Mexico for years. We have taken some bruisers on film for different shows. You can find out of state license fees on the New Mexico DNR site and they are steep. Hopefully you can get a landowner tag from you relatives. If not, your in the lottery like the rest of us.
