380 acres isn't much for elk hunting, but if there is a good water source there it might be enough. It all depends what part of the state the land is in. If I were you I would go to the New Mexico DOW website and check it out. They have an abundance of info on elk hunting the different parts of the state, license fees, etc. Good luck.
