You never said what your going to use the 7mm for???

But, for general hunting i agree with BC. Both of those cartridges are too close in performance to buy one over the other based on performance on game...

I'd worry more about getting the proper brand and weight of bullet for what i was hunting than if it was a 30 or 7mm....
