The Checkmates sure look nice but I have not seen one anywhere to try but it seems everybody likes them. I might just have to order one or buy something on the classifieds. It sucks that the only places with traditional bows around here are Bass Pro and Gander and they both have the same limited models to try. They did have the Montana long bow and it didn't seem to bad.
