I like MY mossberg 500 only because my dad gave it to me years ago. When you shoot a 3" shell the slide comes back 3/4 of the way. Sometimes after you shoot the shell will get stuck when you bring the slide back. I do like the features on it better than the features you get with a remington. Like the double bead sight. My next gun will be a 3-1/2" remington or mossy, whichever one is cheaper. They are both great guns.
