DG is right. The Remmington name will hold better value. For ME, I have never bought a gun I thought I might sell someday, so re-sale value doesn't mean much to me.
Both guns will do all you ask of them, if re-sale is on your mind...Perhaps the Remmington (though it seems the world is flooded with 870s and Moss 500s)if not....whichever YOU like best.
