you can make alot of traps...snares are pretty simple and cheap...you can make pitfalls and deadfalls with natural material..you can make a box trap...i made one out of wood but after i got the locking mechanism down i went hoem and one of my buddys were real jealous of it and "accidently" broke it to pieces..o well i always was a better shot than that kid! lol...theres lots of traps oyu can make without buying a trap...many survival manuals have some trap making directions in them...some arent legal though...like here in PA i cant used deadfalls and snares(cept for beaver i think..) and some other traps...i made some and played around with them so if i ever needed to survive i could...most werent hard to make and would probally work if used right...if they make it to survival manuals military uses they are definently proven id hope....good luck...
