I don't know what all that static was about and I don't want to be part of it...but cardeer is correct. Split brow tines are commonplace on large deer in my neck of the woods.

The pictures shown are two different ones than what I've seen elsewhere. I think I've seen a total of four, and now that you mention it, he was dressed differently everytime. I wouldn't assume that anything sinister was in place though. I own a lot of hats and choose among them according to mood, temperature, the outfit I have on, or if I just want to wow the teenyboppers at the local mall.
