I have never used this system because I always hand lap barrels. This way,I can feel paticularly rough or tight spots. This is 1 of many steps I take on all my builds. ALL customers to date(25+ years)are tickled with their rifle accuracy.
Exactly, this is what one should do. And with the aid of a borescope. The throat is a usual trouble area.
