you want to be sure that you don't shoot a slug through your turkey choke' it will mess it up bad.you can shoot slugs through a mod. choke ; buckshot through a full choke.just be sure you have some kind in place.

00 buck will work great for 30 yard shots;us a full choke and go after them bucks.good luck.
