RE: Knight High Pressure Sabots
I'm not so sure bigcountry.
I've loaded some sabots that I practically had to bust a gut to get down the bore (namely the Barnes 300gr MZs) and I didn't have any problem at all with the plug......Also the PRBullet sabots I mostly shoot are extremely tight as well - they are made by MMP, who I think also make the High pressures for Knight as well.
Just off the top of my head, I'd think your problem might be either an overtightened plug, not enough or the wrong type of plug grease, or possibly a moisture issue (or maybe even a combination of 2 or 3 of these). After sitting a week, it might have sucked in a little moisture & coagulated right at the end of the threads & locked things up.
It might be an interesting experiment to shoot about 6 of the Red Hots with High Pressures again and see what the plug does and then shoot 6 more, substituting a standard sabot but keeping everything else the same and see what happens with the plug. That's about the only way I know of to troubleshoot the issue.

Trust God..........but keep your powder dry!
