Default RE: What is happening to this wonderful forum?

Rebel,
The forum "Hogs and Exotics" leads one to believe that exotics, because theyare not free ranging animals in the US with the exception of Texas, are hunted in preserves. How then does one discuss exotics in this forum if the origin of the hunt/animal is to be criticized?
The place I went to had huge whitetails and elk. The proprieter offered me a crack at a bull elk that easily went 370" for $5500.00. I said, why so cheap? He said the bull had to go because it killed two other big bulls during the rut and cost him too much money in the loss. I politely passed on his offer. He thought I was crazy becausethe offer was $3000 less than the originalprice tag on that bull.In this instance, my big game morals would not let me shoot that elk or any preserve deer for that matter. I'll take a chance on a guided elkhunt in MO or NM for $5500.00 and see what I get the traditional way.
You have the opportunity to take hog hunting more seriously than I do. When time and funds allow, I'll venture my way down south somewhere and hunt a hog/boar the traditional way( no spears).
I assure you, all the whitetails, mulies, pronghorns, and bear I shotare fair chase. The hogs are not.
