I am going to be in Tampa Florida March 20th through March 28th visiting family and friends. I was hoping to sneak away and spend a few days in the spring woods and do some turkey hunting. I have family in Altoona south of Jacksonville. I believe the Ocala national forest makes up their backyard. Anyone out there that could help me out on an area to focus my efforts. I spent my dollars on the plane tickets and rental car, so I can't really afford to hunt with an outfitter.

I am pretty good at reading maps and learning a hunt area from afar. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
