I was a barebow shooter for some 30+ years before I changed to sights and release. I agree with everyone else . . . have your bow checked.

As for looking down the arrow, I was a tab shooter and I shot three fingers under [called Apache style] this brings the arrow right under your eye. I took MANY whitetail using this method.
