RE: Looking Down Arrow to Shoot?
portable ladder - I think you may have just stumbled onto the reason your bow is off.
If you were practicing before season and shooting 2" groups, but haven't shot since, my educated guess would be the month time lapse since you were shooting regularly until now has allowed all the muscles involved to go "out-of-tune".
This affects muscle control, hand-eye coordination, quite possibly even changing your anchor point. Any one of these and others will cause accuracy deviations.
Check your bow just for confidence that it it O.K., but as my signature says...
