Default RE: String Loop (so as not to hijack)

Why would my bow shop be somewhat reluctant (it seems) to make my string loop the size I want it????? They always make it bigger (though not as big as many I see) than I want it.
No reason unless they don't know how to or want to use set string lengths. If they don't know how to tie it tight and then pre-stretch it like my proshop does, it might be it just stretches after they make it. Learn to tie it yourself and cut them out of the loop.(excuse the pun on words there) It's good to know how anyway because you might find yourself in a position to have to do it yourself if away. It's easy as long as you remember to go around the string in opposite directions with the ends.
