RE: ground blinds
I use onee, I stack a ton of banches around and on it, it blends it in really well. The deer definitely get used to it, no different than a new bale of hay, or pc of farm equipment left laying around, they'll come over and investigate it at night, then forget about it. In the woods, it's just another clump of branches knocked down in a storm.
I don't use it the same day, unless I'm gun hunting and set up for longer shots, say 50yrds and over. Even then, I brush it in real good with natural vegetation. I think you stand out a lot less when it's covered with branches than sitting in a treestand.
