If you want to make sure that he stays in your area all year , you could try to put out some mimeral blocks , salt blocks and other sources of protine for the winter months.
You might want plant some food plots like clover and apple trees or throw out some corn , carrots and sugar beets if it's legal in your state.
It's not legal plus it can transfer a disease here in IL called CWD.

I would just leave him alone till april, as a bowhunter we have the upper hand on him. I've had a few big bucks react to my trailcams, moving their patterns and such.
