i like the quick release bolt on my winchester,i very rarely ever find any blackpowder residue inside it while cleaning out the bolt. Most of the time i just soak the tip of the bolt in my cleaning solution and then wipe the fouling off. Easy to cap so no complaints here about this type of bolt. Guess it just comes down to personal prefrence.
