RE: what would you do?
I have to agree with Krisken on this one. I tried using an old 'hand me down bow' to get started with. (Bear Brown Bear with a wooden riser) And after 2 years of hunting, spending well over $100.00, and wounding 2 deer this year, I'm going out and purchasing a brand new bow. So I haven't saved anything. My old bow and accessories are junk. The Team Fitzgerald bow package that Krisken was talking about is a very nice set up for the begining archer. I was looking at one myself. It's right at $200.00 for the bow, cable slide (that's what it's called), quiver, fiber optic sight, and fall away rest. The only thing you would have to purchase is a peep sight, limb savers (optional), stabilizer, arrows, and broadheads. You still around $300.00 all said and done.
