If anyone wanted to know "how" to shoot, they should listen to Ridgerunner's advice.
As far as the "heat waaves" go. Are you pretending to hunt in the movie "high plains drifter" or something. Who would ever look for some small distortions in the air as the key to spotting and shooting game. You must be all Cherokee...or something[8D]
Everyone has misunderstood what I meant.
I stated that it has no effect on shooting skills.
I also never mentioned "Thermal Drift" which shows its ugly face from time to time.
It is hard for me to put things to proper words sometimes.
I apologize.
What I meant is this...
"On the "rare" occasion that you can see "something" rise from an animal and it is going up slowly with no variation in side to side motion, you can adjust your shot for Elevation alone. Ignoring Wind."
If you try, try, try you will eventually be able to "see this" easier and more often.
Just likeseeing amotionlessgame animal.
The more you see one, the more you learn to see it.
