I hit a doe this year, in the same spot, arrow hit a branch and hit well back from where I had aimed ( did not see branch at all) I was sick about it, but backed out and gave her 6 hours. I went back and found her 60 yds. away. Obviously hit guts, liver, and one lung and exited out of the armpit hitting the front leg on exit. I would never , ever take the shot on purpose, I was so happy and relievedto find her.
