RE: Swiss Black Powder or BlackPowder substitute??
Very good post Cayugad! I am a GOEX man myself...preferring BP over substitutes even though I have Pyro and Trip 7 on hand. I have a few rifles that shoot the subs well but I have some that don't like the taste of anything butBP and I wouldn't shoot anything but BP in my Flinters. I would like to try Swiss sometime, as I have heard that it works really well in smallbores but it's not available where I live. I thought about ordering some from Maine Powder House a few years back butI think they had a 25lb. min order. and I couldn't get my cheap@$$ hunting buddies to go in with me so I couldn't see myself buying 25lbs. for my own use....BPS
