This has nothing to do with dogs running deer and ruining hunts, but I'll play. I don't believe that I said that I HUNTED over bait. I do use bait to get Camtrakker pictures and "inventory" the deer population. People that hunt in states where baiting is illegal are always the ones that call it cheating and have NO idea about what they are talking about. For the record, putting out bait (like planting a food plot) does not mean deer will come running to it. I plant between 15-20 acres of food plots each year twice a year as a supplemental food source on my places. I have had one of my places for 12 years and have seen a body weight increase on killed animals of 20 pounds since I killed the first deer off of it in 1994.

Here is one back at you. I spend hundreds of dollars on feed and seed and many hours each year to improve the deer herd on my places. Baiting may be cheating, but I am giving something back to the deer herd. What have you done to give anything back to your deer herd?
