Hey Greg.....

Not being morbid OR anythig else.....just wanted to respond....congratulate you on your harvest.....and expound on a part of your story that I think is important. I had a similar kill story to yours with a deer I shot, this year. He died fairly quickly.....but his will was immense. I'm a little melancholy after putting my Lab down, last Tuesday.....but it STILL gets to me seeing these animals die (I witnessed 3 of my bowkills in their final moments, this season). I'm no animal rights activist.....but I'm a HUGE animal lover. I'm sure you and most here are, as well. I wrote this reply to thank you for putting another arrow into that animal. I did that twice this year....and I'd have arrowed them again if I thought it would end their life, sooner. I think Rob/PA shot his buck 3 times. Kudos to him, as well.

Just my plea, guys......put another arrow into them at EVERY opportunity. I'd empty my quiver to take 10 seconds from that animal's final moments.

Jeff
