Default RE: In need of a long rod.

I prefer to stay away from the telescoping type.
Has anyoneever handled a"Feeder" rod?
How does it differ from a standard spinning rod?
I noticed that they have a maximum casting lure weight of about 6-8oz.
I cant find aminimum casting lure weight...???
This rod needs alittle finesse and demands a reel. I like to work my bait(a little)98% of the time(live or not)
I use 1/16 oz sinker and redworm a lot. As well as "naked" baits (insects frogs n such)
small topwaters, roostertails, jigs , and spoons.
I also like a cut piece of can and a small treble.
I need to be able to "pitch" light things with precision.

As of nowI am leaning towards the BnM, just worried it may be too light in action. But it has been designedfor a fishing stylethat closely resembles my own.
I have and do use (wild)bamboo. I prefer it for my gig handle over a fishing pole myself.
Thanks. I plan on doing a little research on Match Fishing. That might actually be a tournamentI may participate in, in the future.
