I haven't bought steak in over five years. Venison is AALLOOTT cheaper for me to get then store bought meat. I do all of my own cutting like a few others here, this can save money by itself. The deer meat is better for you, less chemicals and fat. Even if the farmer doesn't use chemicals the meat company will.
