Default RE: Browning Gold Shotgun Safety

Goldhunter
I have had no problems with my Gold 3 1/2 Turkey 24" barrel. It shoots, loads and ejects everything from 2 3/4 trap loads to 3 1/2 mag. without fail. You're the first I've heard say they were having a problem with cycling. You should definitely try to get it exchanged. After all Browning claims: "its unique, self regulating gas system allows you to shoot all loads interchangeably - from 1 1/8 oz. 2 3/4 field loads to the heaviest 3 1/2 magnums etc etc". Quote from catalogue.

I too find the safety a bit stiff and it "clicks". But I've found like Goldhunter, that if I operate it between my index finger and thumb it's OK. At least we know it's a positive safety. gg.

This gobler never heard me take the safety off.
