Default Browning Gold Shotgun Safety

Well, my new Gold Sluggun did a great job this hunting season. I didn't even take a rifle out of the safe. I just used it in WV, and MD. It shot three deer in the last two weeks. One out to 120 yards which I about lost. But the freezer is filled to capacity.

But I found the only complaint but a big one. The safety on this thing is quite stiff and makes a click. I was surprised last monday to see this nice 8pt only 15 yards away going thru heavy brush. He stopped several times and looked at me so I didn't move a muscle unless he was moving. When I took the safety off, he stopped in his tracks. Fortuneatly, I found a 5" hole thru the brush to fire off a shot at 10 yards away. He never made it to my shooting lane I had for him to cross. Do any of the rest of you with this shotgun see this as extreamely stiff safety.
