RE: Muzzle break or Magna-port for 375HH
Boltman.....I'd like to both agree and then disagree with you. I have two of those nasty guns. One a custom stocked thing, the other a Remington 700 clasic and that classic is well stocked....but it's light!!
While shooting freehand or at game with either of those guns, the recoil is something I never notice.....My focus is on the job of doing a fine shot at a game animal.
However, go sit at a bench to do groups at 100 yards with 300 grain solids or even 260 grain partitions and I'm forced to put a sand bag between me and the gun's butt to protect me. Oh...I'm a 6-1" guy at 250 pounds too!!
I personally have no need for a muzzle brake on my .375H&H, but sure can see why some folks want one!!
