Was going to get one myself a few years ago but went with the 336D which was a special run at the time for davidson's. Basically a .35 Rem guide gun. Figured being different I'd grab it and it, like your .45-70 is an awesome gun. maybe someday I'll grba another 45-70 but right now my #1 in that chambering is more than enough. Also, I can understand the low felt recoil as my #1 is a *****cat to shoot. Enjoy your new firearm!
