I too got a 336W this season, in Nov. I took the scope & rings from my muzzleloader - weaver rings & Bushnell 1.75x4-32mm Trophy - and mounted on the Marlin after buying a 1-piece base. It is a good setup, and kills the deer. If I were starting from scratch.... I'd get either a fixed 4x, or a 2-7.
