No it isnt over deer. What it is over is repeated tresspassing and purposefully entering another mans land and stealing the privacy that comes with owning land. Then when you have the nerve to stop them and say something the red neck in them comes out and you are threatened. They burn your land, burn your cabin, and throughout the entire process continue to dump their dogs into your property. Its a matter of respecting your neighbor and a mans land. It has little to nothing to do with the deer.

If you will read in the Georgia regs you will see very specific regualtion concerning threats ect. Do you suppose they took the time to write this in there for a reason? Sure they did because the fact is that this is the typical response you will get if you try and lock em up, confront them, or otherwise stand up for your right to own private property and enjoy it. without their hounds.

You may think I am kidding, but sit back on your porch one day and have a guy show up with a loaded gun on the seat of his truck that "informs" you that he is going to drive into your land to retrieve his dogs a few hours before you go out and still hunt. When you say no dont think so , the reply back is,"ya know thats how a fellas land gets burned" These arent stories these are actual happeneings and if you think I am the only one who can pass on accountings like this, just look in the newpapers around here.

No human being has right to terrorize his neighbors over hunting a deer with his dogs. These numbskulls apparently feel it is their God given right to run all over anything they please at all cost. Well enough is enough and down here were doing something about it. If our buddy here is to stupid to see that taking a look at the problem and possibly getting proactive about queelling the abuses in his area that i am absolutely sure happen, than so be it. What he fails to understand is its the lack of regulation that let these guys get away with it. he doesnt have to do it , for it to need regulation, theres plenty out there willing to do it even if hes a "good dog hunter".Watch his tradition disapear becuase he wont sign onto proper regulation that gives the rest of us some sanity and expectation of being able to enjoy our land without his sports rougues tresspassing hounds on it.

I for one know its a heck of alot more than 63% of the public that doesnt hunt and I also know that when youtally the small minority of the hunting public that dog hunts you dont stand a snowballs chance in hell of saving your sport without my support. Better yet if you piss me off andIO rise up against you with my vast majority of non doggin hunters that are all pretty much pissed as well, it gets real ugly.

So there I am one day looking at my bent up gate and a truck running into my property tearing tires and tearing up my roads. Call the sherrif sure with what? nearest phone is ten miles away and this sob is on my land trying to cut off his dogs with a loaded gun on the seat of the truck. Well fella at some point and time someones getting theirbutt kicked for being disrespectful like that.
