Yup, it makes sense. Its been years since I've been in a bowling league or anything else with a handicap, so I wasnt sure. The example was easy enough to follow, until it showed the handicap being added back to the scratch average, that kinda confused me (easy to do). Anyway, Being bored tonight, I just put together an excel spreadsheet that will automatically calculate your scores, average the scratches, compute the handicap, adjust your weekly score(by addingyour handicap), and keep track of your X count. All you have to do is enter the number of 5's, 4's, and X's for each end and the rest is automatically calculated. It ain't pretty, but it works (I think).
