Your best head is one of the cheap rubber blunt tips with the grippers on the face. They won't snake into the grass much if you miss. As far as eating squirrels, my favorite way is to steam them for about 10 minutes then roll them in flour and fry them in 1/2 butter and 1/2 crisco. If you haven't eaten them that way, you don't know what you've been missing.
