RE: Shotgun for Deer
My pick would be an automatic with a rifled slug barrel .I use a berretta 12 ga with a hastings barrel & scope & i have no problem putting 1.5 " groups at 150 yards using hornady sst slugs . I have hunted my whole life with a pumpkin slinger go with the 12 ga trust me i dont believe a 20 has enough knock down power at farther distances ,it took me several year to talk my dad into a 12 & he said now he would not go back he uses a browning gold hunter ,both are great guns.
