What defines a "drive" and a "gentle push" may very from person to person. I've been on some little drives, and really I didn't get amazing results. Usually I don't even see any deer, and when I do it's just little does. Some good drives that are well planned out, with thought given to safety will normally produce good results. Standing shots are normal.
