I appreciate the capabilities of heavier bullets and that is one of the reason I have over $1700 (ouch!) tied up in my current rig. My sentiments are that with the stretch bullets, the 223 starts to act like a different rifle. The 22-250 still continues to sell locally and has a hard core following for pests hereabouts. When I talk to them about wind, basically the response is, yeah, but it gets there faster.

So although I sold my 22-250 off, I will admit it is fast. Blazingly fast. Bullet strike is spectacular. No yote holds up against it. So what the hey. Look at tables and choose what works for you. Better yet, buy both!
