Well high desert wolf, first you would have to check the drop on the ammunition your using if sighted in at 200 how low it will be at 400. Then after adjusting for that you need to just hold the crosshairs a couple of inches to the left if the coyote is 400 yards to the north and you have a 15 mph western wind. but that wasnt what we was talking about. that takes skill. Dead calm shooting at your zero point and if you have a good rest, most anyone should be able to hit it or get close.
