konaBoy, who made the rifle you are holding? I like the looks of it. I would like it better with some express style sights and a barrel band sling swivel, but still a real nice weapon.
Ellwood Epps (in Ontario)made the rifle off a Mauser action for my great grandpa. Then when he passed away, he gave it to my dad, and now when I feel like a change, I'll steal it from him Every deer I shoot with that gun is really special to me, because I don't really remember him that well, but all the memories I have are good ones. I love this gun. It's fairly light, I think 7 and a half pounds, short enough barrel so it's not a hassle in the thick bush, and it drops deer pretty quick.
