Since I'm in NY, PA is just down state from me. They still have a true ML season of flint and round ball only and if my memory serves me right Hornady developed a new PA conical that PA approved. It is just a slight elongation and it is messy w/ its own lube in a plastic bag in a box. Don't know if you ever tried them.
Yea, If I get time I'll try to shoot some real close ups of that rifle. Pretty neat as it has all brown steel and a maple stock. It is totally different than my TC Hawken. Much longer barrel, different wood andcolor. Just a neat piece. Unfornatually I'm a lefty and someday I would like to find a nice LH rifle in the traditional flint. Never shot one. I did see a AH flinter@ Gander Mnt. You may not know but they went belly up over the summer I believe.

Since I love shooting the older rifles it is sad myeyes are slowly getting bad. A dealer of mine in PA sent me a set of bendable peep sights for your glessesthat you bend in place for accurate shooting., If your retired you might like to trythis little trick that is legal in their state. You can't modify the rifle but you can modify your picture!
I'll try to shoot a pic of it too. Just tape to your glasses and bend to fit!
