Yea, You should be able to work up a great load. Not sure why. Have you tried other heavy wt maxi bullets, like TC Hunters and Buffalo bullets?
If that barrel is a washboard TC should take care of you. With a peep you should get great groups @ 50-75 yrds... I would prusue it further..
