Yeah. I hit a mulie doe in the front shoulder with a 145 grain Speer Hot Core from a 280. Pretty much destroyed the whole front half of that critter. It was about a 50 yard shot. That was the worst meat damage I have ever seen done to a deer. I never used that bullet again although it probably would have been fine at 200 yards.
