I shoot a Gallery load in my 45-70. I use 3 grains of Red Dot, with a .454 round ball. I do not think I could get an oversized ball down the barrel. I have been considering a Cat sneeze for my 44 Magnun. I have done alot of research on the light loads. Everything I have found for roundballs said to go 3-5 thousandths under. What data did you use, I would be interested in reading it.

Are you using a neck bushing, or are you shaving lead when you seat the bullet? Tom.
