About the only way you could get this to work is use a Barnes X bullet. A lighter one will shoot flatter. I think they make a 130 gr. Triple Shock. These bullets will generally zip right through a coyote and leave a finger size exit hole - unless, of course, you hit big bone like the spine or shoulder. I shot a coyote last year coming into the call. At 40 yards, my 6MM-284 put a Barnes X bullet through him end for end. It made a 1/2" exit hole in the hip and stilll had enough steam to go through a 6" Pinon tree.
