Very good article. And nothing in there I disagree with; although Hart, Lilja, and Shilen are probably going to take exception to the comments about button rifling. I'm using, primarily, Krieger barrels and, in addition to all the other reasons listed; I also like the double cryo freezing that Krieger does - something not covered in the article -which I find to bea whole plateau above the old stress relief heating method. I'm a believer in this additionalprocess of creating a straight and smooth bore - one that tends to hold zero with monotonous consistency. If a customer says he wants "the best" and is not scared by the price or waiting list, we're going with Krieger.
