Jake, your posts are confusing me. In some of them, you are asking advise about bullets, scopes, etc. In others you are talking about 1 hole groups at 100 yards and shootin coyotes at 400 yards with no problem.

My guess is you are a very enthusiastic young man that is looking forward to getting his new gun at Christmas. Maybe getting ahead of yourself with the accuracy part. Your new gun may or may not do what you have posted, but you have to do your job also.

I certainly am not capable of shooting as you have described. I am just getting into coyote hunting and have done some practicing on lifesize coyote targets. Coyotes make a very small target. My lab is about 65lbs which is nota big lab. From what I read, most coyotes are about half that. I tell you, at 250 yards I was humbled. Was shooting from a seated position using shooting sticks.

So, just enjoy the site and don't "embelish" on the facts. There is enough of that on here. When you do have questions, you will probably get better help if you haven't tried to make yourself look like an expert in another post.

Anyway, just some advise from an older guy. Best of luck with your Savage. I am sure you will like it. Please post a picture or two when you get it. If my take on all this is wrong, I sincerely appologize.
