RE: Shot some bows today!
Don, I have a 2002 Mighty Mite, 60#er. The factory paper states 304 fps @ 29" draw. I shoot 365 gr arrow @ 55# & get 265 out of it. At 60# I'd be right there (270-280). You can come close with a lighter arrow. I tried every stab in the shop on mine. I bought a Vibracheck Isolator, 7 1/2". By far, better than any other I tried. It weighs 10 oz. I think Stealth makes an 8" about that weight. I don't think BowTech is changing the MM in 2003. These bows are extremely accurate for a short ATA bow. I shot some 3D last summer, and my scores were in the 270s. At hunting ranges it's more than adequate. The overall weight and balance are just what I like for still hunting, and shooting from odd angles and positions. It also shoots, and handles well, from a treestand. I think you'll be well pleased, and well served by a Mighty Mite. BTW, I sold my Patriot (2003 DC on order), and have a P38 DC. I like shooting the MM. Good luck.
I just had a thought, careful Phil. The 2003 Pat DC wil get the speed you want in a 60# bow. The weight will only be a few more oz, and the balance should be different.
Phil.
